A long, long time ago, there was a clan called The Shire 2.0. It was started by a noble, brave player named Blaker. The Shire 2.0 was a wonderful place to learn and grow. It prospered for many months.
But soon, turmoil hit the clan. There were many people promoted to Co-leader who soon lost interest in the game, and other, more active Co-leaders did not want to offend the established leadership of the clan by booting their friends accidentally. Before long, the clan started in-fighting, new players complaining about inactive Co-leaders, other players demanding rank, and no one sure of who could be booted or demoted or promoted. It was madness. Conflict reigned.
In this chaos, three players decided to make a change. BONAR (the humble author of this narrative) SirJBone and Darklord3 left The Shire 2.0 and started the clan we now currently know and love as Mordor 2.0. Several of the more active players in the Shire 2.0 decided to follow the three, and before long, new core members were added, and Mordor 2.0 grew and blossomed.
In the wake of the Shire 2.0, we decided to make promotion to Co-leader incredibly rare, agreed that booting inactive or offensive players was okay for established leadership of the clan, and have tried to encourage active growth amongst the players.
And so here we are today. Let us hope for many more seasons together, more tales of MAD LOOTZ and BAD FLOPS, and more wars won than lost.
